FIELD: electrical and electronic engineering; fiber-optic plate manufacture. SUBSTANCE: device has glass tube with top and bottom sealing surfaces that accommodates microchannel block, gas evacuation cavities, and assembly heating furnaces; top and bottom sealing surfaces are made in the form of flanges attached to cylindrical shell; gas evacuation cavity is made in root end of one of flanges whose butt end on side of microchannel block is provided with holes or insets with holes; butt-end sections of flanges have annular slots to receive sealing gaskets supporting ends of glass tube. Number of pieces of equipment and processes required for manufacturing microchannel block sintering shell is brought to minimum and most of structural members of device can be reused. EFFECT: facilitated manufacture excluding distortion of microchannel block shape. 1 dwg
