SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a body-facing stoma accessory, to the stoma apparatus and to a method for applying a stoma tool. Body element of the stoma apparatus comprises a protective layer, a through hole and a protective film. Protective layer has a proximal surface and a distal surface. Proximal surface of protective layer contains adhesive layer. Adhesive layer is formed by first zone and second zone surrounding first zone. Through hole passes through the protective layer and the adhesive layer and is surrounded by the first zone. Protective film covers the proximal adhesive surface of the adhesive layer. At least part of the distal surface of the protective film is embossed to form interconnected cavities between the adhesive surface and the protective film. Protective film comprises reservoir containing liquid. Reservoir is configured to release liquid from reservoir into interconnected cavities. Stoma apparatus comprises above described body-facing element and collecting bag for stoma discharge. Said bag is rigidly fixed to distal surface of protective layer of body-facing element. Method of applying a stoma tool comprises the steps of: providing above-described body-facing element; effect of liquid on adhesive surface by releasing liquid from reservoir into interconnected cavities; removal of protective film; and applying an element facing the body on the skin surrounding the stoma.

EFFECT: inventions provide application of a liquid substance containing, for example, an active agent or a medicament, or a composition capable of changing properties of the adhesive surface, on the adhesive surface facing the skin of the base plate before using the plate without direct contact with the adhesive surface.
