SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment and aims at body fluid collection. A stoma device comprises a collection sac and an adhesive plate for attachment to the skin surrounding the stoma. The plate comprises an adhesive layer having a proximal adhesive side and a distal side. The distal side is coated with a protective layer. The plate also visibly comprises a central portion inside the sac and a periphery outside the sac, a proximal section on a proximal side of the central portion, and a distal section on a distal portion of the periphery. The distal section discolours when the proximal section is exposed to a fluid. The proximal section and distal section are connected through a connecting canal.

EFFECT: invention provides easy method for leakage detection from the stoma device.
