SUBSTANCE: invention discloses a new form of AFX zeolite, a novel synthesis procedure for producing a pure phase of AFX zeolite, a catalytic product for treating combustion exhaust gas, which includes zeolite, as well as a method of accumulating NOx, a method for selective reduction of NOx, a method for oxidising an exhaust gas component. Aluminosilicate zeolite for treating exhaust gas of combustion includes at least 90 % of pure carcass phase AFX and has silicon dioxide-aluminum oxide ratio of about 22. Zeolite has AFX frame and X-ray diffractogram according to Figure 1. Method of producing a zeolite having an AFX framework comprises a step of reacting a synthesis gel comprising a sodium silicate, aluminum oxide source selected from ammonium form of zeolite Y and/or hydrogen form of zeolite Y, and a structure-forming agent which is 1,3-bis(1-adamantyl)imidazole hydroxide, at temperature of at least 100 °C until crystals of AFX zeolite are formed. AFX zeolites of present invention are pure phase.
EFFECT: disclosed is AFX zeolite.
