FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) catalytic material, comprising a spherical particle which includes an agglomerate of molecular sieve crystals, where the spherical particle has an average particle diameter in range of 0.5 to 5 microns, wherein the molecular sieve is promoted by Cu, where Cu is present in amount of 0.1 to 10 wt. % in terms of oxides, and wherein molecular sieve includes zeolite frame material of silicon and aluminium atoms, in which part of silicon atoms is isomorphically substituted with tetravalent transition metal. Invention also relates to a method for selective reduction of nitrogen oxides and a system for purifying exhaust gases.
EFFECT: technical result consists in reduction of production of N2O during SCR reaction.
