FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, particularly to otorhinolaryngology. It involves preventive highly selective embolization of tumour-feeding vessels, and artificial pulmonary ventilation. Local drug-induced vasoconstriction of the nasal mucosa is performed, endoscopic endonasal surgical approach. Tumour is exposed to an endoscopic control in a continuous mode by a surgical laser delivered to the surgical site by a flexible light guide. That is followed by laser separation of angiofibroma from its attachment points. Using rigid nasal endoscopes with a different angle of view, namely 0° or 30°, wherein a diode laser with wavelength of 980 nm and a radiation power of 8.3 W is used. Laser exposure is performed remotely along whole surface of tumour with capture of maximum volume of its mass, being guided by change in colour of tumour from crimson to pale. Exposure is continued until a pale-pink colour of the tumour appears, with one-time reduction of its size upon exposure.
EFFECT: method enables visualizing the tumour borders, increasing the tumour removal radicality to reduce operative injures, as well as the risks of developing intraoperative and/or postoperative haemorrhage, and reducing the length of patient rehabilitation.
