FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of determining chemical compounds belonging to a group of thiuram disulphides, which includes sample preparation of the analysed solution by extraction of the determined compounds, ionisation of molecules of the determined compounds and detection of ions in a mass spectrometer. Method is characterized by that chemical compounds belonging to a group of thiuram disulphides are first converted into complex compounds by reacting with transition metals, the obtained complex compounds are extracted from the analysed solution, extragent is applied on a solid-state substrate, which absorbs laser radiation and provides ionization of compounds on the surface by electron transfer; the substrate is exposed to pulsed laser radiation and ions obtained as a result of such action are detected.

EFFECT: invention increases sensitivity of analysis when determining chemical compounds of thiuram disulphides and reduces duration of analysis.
