FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: in a mass spectral device for quick and direct analysis of samples, comprising an ioniser, representing a hollow cathode with a pulse glow discharge, placed into a gas-discharge chamber with inert gas and a time-of-flight mass spectrometer, the hollow cathode is an assembled structure made of two composite parts placed into a pumped cylinder, the end of which with the help of an elastomer vacuum toroidal seal is pressed to the surface of a quartz disc, being a part of a discharge cell, besides, one of the parts of the hollow cathode is a hollow cylinder made of a monoisotope metal and is rigidly fixed in a jacket of the proposed device, and the second part is made in the form of a holder, besides, for analysis of dry residue of solutions, the holder represents a disc made from the same metal, with grooves having spherical surface, and for analysis of solid-state samples - the disc with cylindrical holes, where samples are inserted.
EFFECT: improved analytic characteristics, namely, reduced time of analysis and expanded circle of analysed objects due to solid-state samples.
