FIELD: biotechnology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to laboratory diagnostics and can be used for determination of oxidised fibrinogen. Method of determining oxidation-modulated fibrinogen (omFG) during recalcification of citrate plasma involves determining coagulation of citrate plasma photometrically by changing the turbidity of samples at wavelength of 450 nm with measurement intervals of 0, 30 and 60 min, determining fibrinogen (FG) by the Claus method, calculation of individual coefficient (IC) of transfer of changes of optical density (ΔA450) of samples after 60 minutes of incubation as the ratio of FG, determined by the method of Klaus, to ΔA450 for 60 minutes of incubation, determination of ΔA450 for 30 minutes of incubation, calculation of FG, coagulated for 30 minutes of incubation, by formula: FG(30) (g/l) = ΔA450 (30 min) × IC, then calculating the content of omFG, determining the content of omFG to total PH determined by the Klaus method, if the content is more than 10 %, the high level of omFG and the presence of oxidative stress in the human body are stated.

EFFECT: invention provides wide screening, detecting people with high oxidative stress, conducting an anti-inflammatory therapy and monitoring the effectiveness of the therapy.
