FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to filters for internal combustion engines capable of more efficient operation on fuel, from which contaminants are removed before it enters injection system or combustion chamber. Filter element 16 for filtering device 10 comprises tubular element 26, extending along longitudinal axis between first end 28 and second end face 30 and forming inner space 32; retaining element 34 connected to first end 28 of tubular element 26, wherein retaining element 34 is able to be connected to first housing 14; valve seat element 36 in said inner space 32, formed by tubular member 26 and located between first end 28 and second end 30 of tubular member 26, wherein valve seat element 36 comprises valve seat opening 38, capable of providing fluid communication between first end 28 of tubular member 26 and second end 30 of tubular member 26, and valve seat opening 38 is able to provide fluid seal with poppet valve 40; first end cap 42 connected to first end 28 of tubular element 26, wherein the first end cover 42 has the first end cover hole 44, capable of providing fluid communication through first end 28 of tubular member 26; second end cover 46, connected to second end 30 of tubular element 26, wherein second end cover 46 has opening 48 of second end cover, capable of providing fluid communication between said inner space 32 of tubular member 26 and second housing 18; and filtering material 50 around tubular member 26 and between first and second end covers 42, 46, capable of catching contaminants from fluid medium, wherein second end cover 46 is capable of providing seal 76 along fluid between filter element 16 and drain channel 24 in second housing 18, so that when separating filter element 16 from second housing 18 fluid medium from filtering element 16 flows into drain channel 24.

EFFECT: design of the filtering device reduces the probability of dispensing when replacing or cleaning the filtration material.
