FIELD: defense equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to defense equipment, specifically to containers for launching ammunition. Lock front cover of container consists of compression spring, spring-loaded latch and clevis with groove. On the side surface of the clevis between the front cut of the container and the groove there are several projections the height of which is less than or equal to the length of the working stroke of the compression spring. Spring-loaded latch is installed on front cover so that when it is opened by 90° and more from front edge of container, angular position of spring-loaded latch coincides with position of projections on clevis.
EFFECT: technical result consists in providing opening of the opening cover when ammunition leaves the container during icing and freezing of the locking mechanism of the cover.
