FIELD: air cleaning equipment.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to collection of solid residues (soot) and conversion of COx and NOx (and even methane) present in contaminated air, which is formed during industrial combustion. Air cleaning system comprises air intake; first module containing mechanical filters containing sand filters, filters with organic carbon and filters with aluminosilicate fillers, which are separated by micro cellular meshes from stainless steel and are characterized by mesh cells sizes within 30–80 mcm; a second module located behind the first module and corresponding to a row of small reactors with molecular converters for trapping and converting carbon oxides (COx) and nitrogen oxides (NOx), where the second module is divided into two parts: a first chemical reactor containing solid metal hydroxides; and a second chemical reactor consisting of a mixture of ketones, guanidines and solid powdered organic sulfur-containing compounds; and air outlet for purified air.
EFFECT: this allows to create multi-purpose and adaptive equipment intended for cleaning of environment at different levels (critical and non-critical) regardless of pollution source.
