SUBSTANCE: invention relates to brake shoe for disc brake with reduced wear characteristics. In the brake shoe, the friction material is distributed such that its large mass is concentrated in the radially outer area of the brake shoe, wherein lateral sides of shoe material, as a whole, converge along radial lines starting from brake disc rotation axis.

EFFECT: due to said distribution of friction material of brake shoe, reduced braking pressure between brake shoe and brake disc, but same braking force as with using comparable, in general, rectangular brake shoe, with less wear of brake shoe at same values of braking force.
