FIELD: internal combustion engines.
SUBSTANCE: internal combustion engine (10) comprises at least two cylinders (11, 1') with parallel longitudinal axes, each cylinder is equipped with hole and piston (12, 12'), made with possibility of translational movement inside said cylinder, said corresponding holes of said cylinders face each other, said pistons have kinematic connection with crank and connecting-rod mechanism, comprising: separator (13) connecting said pistons and capable of maintaining constant interval between said pistons, said pistons are attached to corresponding arms (131, 131') of said separator; crankshaft (20) made with possibility of rotation around axis located between cylinder holes and between longitudinal axes of said cylinders, said crankshaft has connecting rod (21); rocker (40) made with possibility of rotation around connecting rod; at least one connecting rod (30) having a first end, called "small end" (31), attached to the separator, and a second end, called "large end" (32), attached to one of the ends of the yoke.
