FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of machine building. Crosspiece of the vehicle differential comprises a long rod in the form of cylinders, two short rods and a connecting element in the form of an axis. Long rod has the same diameter along the whole length, along the rod center there are two slots and through hole perpendicular to them. Two short rods have through hole along axis. Inner ends of short rods are made with two external grooves forming protrusions, by which rods are tightly inserted into slots of long rod to contact with its surface. Connecting element having a smooth outer surface is inserted into the through hole of the short rods and into the through hole of the long rod. On its ends there are grooves in which retainers are made, which are made in form of locking rings. According to the second version, a retainer in the form of a retaining ring is also installed in the groove made on one end of the connecting element. Other end of the connecting element has a retainer in the form of a cylindrical section with diameter larger than the diameter of the axis so that a collar is formed.
EFFECT: reduced size of crosspiece while maintaining reliability.
