Radio terminal comprises memory; and at least one processor connected to memory, wherein at least one processor is configured to transmit to radio station message on completion of radio resource control (RRC) connection setting, including an auxiliary information element of user equipment (UE), indicating, which of a plurality of types of a communication architecture for transmitting a data packet relating to the Cellular Internet of Things (CIoT), radio terminal wants to use, radio terminal supports or to which radio terminal is configured, wherein message about RRC connection setting completion is sent without using packet data convergence protocol (PDCP), and the UE auxiliary information element is access level (AS) layer information (RRC).

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of efficiency of communication procedure, reduction of alarm messages and proper selection of core network (CN).
