FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of monitoring stations of railway track circuits. In compliance with this invention, track generator and track receiver are connected to rail lines by means of two two-wire communication lines. Moment of connection of track devices is determined with participation of distributors installed in track boxes at rail lines. Synchronization of distributors operation is performed by frame synchronization signals. Track conditions are monitored by comparison of current and threshold voltage, which are defined as arithmetic mean voltage measured for 5–10 s at free adjacent rail circuits, at free and service track section current voltage should make at least 75 % of threshold value.

EFFECT: higher reliability of control of track rail circuits.
