SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for monitoring the states of intermediate track circuits TC. In the method, monitoring is executed by tonal track circuits TTC, the threshold voltages for recording the state of the TC are adaptive. The release of the TC is recorded if the condition that the current voltage of the receiving end of the TC in the next control cycle is not different from the threshold voltage and the current voltage of the previous TC in the previous control cycle by more than 10% is satisfied. The threshold voltage is recorded if three adjacent TC are in the free state, said voltage is equal to the current voltage of the receiving end of the middle TC in the current control cycle.
EFFECT: increase in the reliability and accuracy of monitoring the states of TC when the resistance of insulation of the TC is reduced.
