FIELD: vessels and other watercrafts.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to underwater equipment, in particular to complexes intended for inspection and mapping of bottom water areas, for example, shelf of Arctic Ocean. Robotized system for survey of the water area bottom contains a float, a submersible block, an anchor plate interconnected by cable-ropes to each other and to the control centre of underwater-technical works. Control centre is connected through fibre-optic communication to a self-propelled remote guided robot equipped with controls for its movement at constant speed at the specified depth. Hydroacoustic beacon is rigidly fixed on the submersible unit and installed so that to enable centring of measurements during bottom survey. On the underwater robot there is a side-scan sonar for direction finding of the acoustic signal with subsequent transmission of information to the control centre for correction of the robot movement trajectory along the Archimedean spiral with the initial reference point in the vertical plane, defined by the direction of the acoustic signal of the submersible antenna and the vertical, passing through the hydroacoustic beacon.
EFFECT: technical result is improved efficiency and reliability of operation of the system, broader operational capabilities when solving tasks of survey and mapping of bottom of water area under conditions of solid ice cover in the presence of information communication with control centre for underwater operations.
