SUBSTANCE: invention relates to an aerosol delivery device which comprises a control housing which comprises a power supply and a first connector portion; and a cartridge comprising: a reservoir configured to receive an aerosol precursor composition; atomizer, comprising a heating element configured to heat the aerosol precursor composition, obtained from reservoir, to form aerosol; and second part of connector, wherein first part of connector and second part of connector are made with possibility of interaction with each other with possibility of disconnection, wherein one of the first connector part and the second connector part comprises a protruding part, and the other of the first connector part and the connector second part comprises a socket, configured to receive protruding part, wherein seat comprises heating leads, electrically connected to the heating element of the atomizer and configured to form a mechanical connection with the protruding part by mechanical engagement with the protruding part, protruding part comprises multiple contact sections, successively made in longitudinal direction on outer surface along its longitudinal length, and contact areas are electrically isolated from each other by at least one spacer and are configured to form an electrical connection to the socket.
