FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to smoking devices, particularly to aerosol delivery apparatuses. The control body is comprised of a casing forming an electrical circuit cavity and a cartridge cavity configured to accommodate a cartridge containing an atomizer and a reservoir containing an aerosol precursor composition. The electrical circuit cavity and the cartridge cavity each extend longitudinally in the casing. The body comprises an electrical circuit, part of which is at least partially located in the electrical circuit cavity. The electrical circuit comprises an electrical generator unit containing a movable input element extending outward from the casing. The control body comprises an electric generator configured to generate electric current during movement of the movable input element. The control body also comprises a connecting apparatus located in the cartridge cavity and configured to direct electric current from the electric generator to the atomizer to obtain an aerosol from the aerosol precursor composition. Also proposed is an aerosol delivery apparatus comprising a control body and a method for producing an aerosol.

EFFECT: increased efficiency of aerosol delivery through autonomy of the electric power supply.
