FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing microencapsulated sulfur as a vulcanising agent and can be used in producing a polymer composition for rubber industry and tire industry. Method includes steps of dispersing sulfur in a dispersion medium, which is a resinous melt cooled to room temperature of 17.50–18.20 pts.wt. of ε-caprolactam with 17.50–18.20 pts.wt. of N-isopropyl-N/-phenyl-n-phenylenediamine with possible addition of stearic acid to the melt up to 3.60 pts.wt to produce a paste. Powdered, microsuspension polyvinyl chloride is then added to the paste to constant viscosity to form plastisol and plastisol mature at room temperature until viscosity increases, gelatinisation of plastisol at 100±5 °C for an hour, cooling solid product with subsequent grinding, in following ratio of components, wt.%: 35.00–40.00 of sulfur, 35.00–40.00 of resin melt, 30.00–20.00 of polyvinyl chloride.
EFFECT: wider range of vulcanising agents, high physical and mechanical properties of vulcanisers.
