FIELD: railways.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to diagnostic systems for train traffic safety, namely, for monitoring of track superstructure and elements of railway infrastructure for unauthorized impact. Disclosed system for monitoring the upper structure of the track and elements of the railway infrastructure for unauthorized impact comprises a base frame mounted on a rail vehicle equipped with an on-board computing device connected through a matching unit to a satellite navigation receiver and an external path and speed sensor, and through the data bus – to the registration-measuring system installed on the base frame and containing the rail defects registration subsystems, right and left, respectively, each of which includes at least three television cameras, an interrail space monitoring subsystem, which includes at least one television camera, a ballast layer monitoring subsystem in the interrail space, which includes at least one georadar sensor, ballast layer control subsystem in the zone of rails, right and left, respectively, each of which includes at least two georadar sensors, illumination subsystem, ballast layer control subsystem in the area of sleeper ends, right and left, respectively, each of which includes at least two georadar sensors, as well as at least one thermal imaging camera installed on the sides of the base vehicle. On-board computing device is connected by its output to a data processing and output server, which is connected by inputs/outputs to outputs/inputs of the operator's hardware-software complex, a data storage module and a data reception-transmission module interacting with external information systems.

EFFECT: expansion of functional capabilities due to detection of unauthorized objects located both on tracks and inside ballast layer and subgrade by means of verification of readings of sensors of different principle of action and direction.
