FIELD: measurement.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of thermophysical measurements, in particular to measurements of thermophysical properties of construction materials, and can be used for assessment of heat conductivity of new materials in the field of construction of residential, technical and other buildings and structures. According to the proposed heat conduction measurement method, a cylindrical sample of at least five diameters is made from the analyzed material. Inside the sample the axial heating element is installed. In the center of the length at distances r1 and r2 from the axis of the cylinder there installed are thermocouples connected to a millivoltmeter, determining temperature values t1 at the axis and t2 at the sample surface. At the beginning of temperature change t2, heat conductivity is determined by formula
where λ – thermal conductivity of analyzed material, W/(m2⋅K); Q is power dissipated by heater, W; r1, r2 are distances from sample axis to thermocouple mounting points, m; l is sample height, m; t1, t2 are sample temperatures at distances r1 and r2 from axis, K.
EFFECT: simple experimental procedure, shorter preparation time and faster measurement results.
