FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agriculture, in particular to increase of germinating capacity of wheat seeds in plant growing, selection works, seed growing and expansion of application area in technologies for production of sprouted wheat and microlens for healthy alimentation. Method of activating sprouting of wheat seeds involves treatment of winter wheat seeds with an aqueous solution of 0.01 % of hydrothermal nanosilica for 2 hours with subsequent sowing and sprouting in standard conditions by temperature and moistening of seeds for 7 days exposed to narrow-band illumination with LEDs of far red light (LED FRL) with wavelength of 730 nm in low intensity mode in 2 mcmol m-2s-1 at the level of substrate with seeds.
EFFECT: method for activation of wheat seeds sprouting enables to increase sprouting energy, germinating capacity of winter wheat seeds, quality of sprouts and wider field of use of light-emitting diodes in agrobiopoptronics and nanoparticles of silica of hydrothermal origin for agriculture and production of new products of healthy alimentation.
