FIELD: bows; crossbows.

SUBSTANCE: sports thrower (bow or crossbow) contains flexible arms, at the ends of which elastic plates or levers at an acute angle to the string are rigidly installed. Bowstring is fixed on free ends of plates and levers. At the ends of rigid arms, rigid levers are rigidly connected to shoulders by springs. Free ends of levers are directed towards shot, and angle between them and shoulders is less than 90 degrees. Tension is tightened by rigid shoulders with the help of one- and multi-gang tackles. Rigid arms can have L-like or T-shape. Onion stabilizer is made in form of fast rotating solid disc with electric or mechanical drive. Force of springs can be supplemented with permanent or electric magnets. Arrow is fixed at tensioned string with release mechanism. There is a signaling device for full tension of the bowstring without using the clicker. Arrow in shank has elongated mounting groove and recess for archer's fingers. Arrow may include aerodynamic tip with displaced center of gravity and wing or tip with high-voltage generator actuated at arrow impact to target. Trigger tension device engages arrow with archer's hand.
