FIELD: monitoring and measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods and devices for producing samples for detectors. An inlet device of the detector for feeding a sample into an analytical device for detecting a substance of interest, wherein the detector input device comprises: chamber for providing flow of gaseous fluid medium, containing volume for sampling; inlet for sampling, arranged in chamber and configured to take gaseous fluid samples from sampling volume and feeding samples into analytical apparatus, wherein stream carries particles; and flow direction guiding means, configured to create a circulating flow of gaseous fluid around the chamber surrounding the sampling inlet, and thereby to change the spatial distribution of particles, carried by fluid medium, to increase the relative portion of particles carried by the sampling inlet and not entering the sampling volume, wherein the chamber is configured to direct fluid flow in the flow direction such that the circulation flow rotates around an axis of rotation transverse to the direction of flow.
EFFECT: technical result is improved quality of samples.
