SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a beverage preparation cake holding a powdered food product (2) and comprising a cup-shaped retaining body (3), which has lower part (5) made with dispensing opening (9), lower filter element (14) installed in holding chamber (6) and located between powdered food product (2) and lower part (5), and a non-oxygen-permeable flexible material sheet (19) installed in retaining body (3) between the powdered food product (2) and dispensing opening (9) and comprising first layer (20) formed from plastic, and second layer (21) formed from aluminum, which are connected to each other, wherein first layer (20) comprises one or more slots (25), each of which is surrounded by dispensing area (26), wherein first layer (20) is locally disconnected from second layer (21) in each dispensing zone (26).
