SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a capsule for the preparation of a drink containing a powdered food product, which makes it possible to prepare a drink by passing water through it. The capsule (1) contains a cup-shaped retaining housing (2), which in turn contains a tubular side wall (21) and a lower part (22), and a closing element (29) that covers the top of the retaining housing (2). The lower part (22) has an outlet opening (26), and a holding chamber (20) is formed inside the holding housing (2). The filter element (3) is installed in the holding chamber (20) and is located between the powdered food product (8) and the lower part (22). The dispensing element (5) is installed in the holding chamber (20) and is located between the filter element (3) and the lower part (22). The dispensing element (5) is designed to create a winding path for the drink that passes to the dispensing hole (26). The barrier element (6), which is not permeable to oxygen, is installed in the holding chamber (20) and is located between the filter element (3) and the dispensing element (5). The non-oxygen permeable barrier element (6) is a sheet of flexible material attached to the retaining housing (2) to provide oxygen impermeability and is designed to break during use, thereby allowing the drink to pass through it. The flow throttling element (7) is installed in the holding chamber (20) in the place located between the filter element (3) and the dispensing element (5), and restricts the passage section for the drink in the holding chamber (20). The flow throttling element (7) has at least one through hole (71) through which, when used, the drink passes to the dispensing element (5).

EFFECT: ensuring that the outgoing flow of the drink is regular and substantially free of jets/splashes, and also ensuring that there is no dripping at the end of the dispensing process.
