FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to versions of hydrogenation of 2-methyl-3-butyn-2-ol by molecular hydrogen in the presence of a palladium catalyst in a liquid dispersion medium. In one version of the method, Pd-P nanoparticles are used, which are formed from bis(acetylacetonate) of palladium and white phosphorus, taken at the following atomic ratio of components: bis(acetylacetonate) of palladium / phosphorus = 1:0.1 to 1:1.0 in Ν,Ν-dimethylformamide, and hydrogenation is carried out at 20–30 °C and hydrogen pressure of 2 atm. Another version of the method uses Pd-P nanoparticles formed from di(acetate) of palladium and white phosphorus, taken at the following atomic ratio of components, respectively: di(acetate) of palladium / phosphorus = 1:0.3 to 1:1.0 in Ν,Ν-dimethylformamide, and hydrogenation is carried out at 30 °C and hydrogen pressure of 2 atm. In one and the other versions of the method, Ν,Ν-dimethylformamide is used as a liquid dispersion medium.
EFFECT: reaction under mild conditions by using a highly active catalyst without loss of selectivity on the target product.
