FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering and can be used for production of hot water. Invention objective is design simplification, increase of efficiency, and also improvement of operational characteristics. Exposure of solar radiation to collector 1 leads to heating of water in it, more heated and less dense layers of it are lifted upwards and via pipeline 3 are supplied to boiler 4, at that depending on temperature of water 6 in boiler, layers or are lowered to bottom part of boiler, or are lifted upwards. From water heater 4 water with lower temperature is fed via pipeline 2 into collector where it is subsequently heated. As a result of such natural current, solar radiation heats all water in boiler, heat insulation 7 of which prevents losses of heat to environment. Water is withdrawn from the boiler by opening tap 5. Sun rays are perpendicular to the front panel of the collector by turning collector 1 around the vertical axis by switching on the first electric motor, as a result of which worm 13 starts rotating in the base supports and gear wheel 10 with posts 9, 14 is turned on bushing 11. When the required position (azimuth) is achieved by the collector, the first electric motor is switched off, providing its fixation due to self-retention of the worm gearing. To turn the collector around the horizontal axis, a second electric motor is switched on, due to which worm 17 starts rotating, which by means of gear wheel 16 and tie-rod 18 rotates the collector in the vertical plane.
EFFECT: when the manifold is turned to the required position, it is fixed by switching off the second motor.
