SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to a system of compositions for treating a substrate, a method of processing a substrate and versions of the processed substrates. System of compositions includes a substrate pretreatment composition containing a Group IVB metal cation and an electropositive metal, and a sealing composition containing a group IA metal cation. Method comprises contacting a substrate surface with a pre-treatment composition, containing Group IVB metal cation and electropositive metal and contact of substrate surface with sealing composition, containing a group IA metal cation, contact with the pretreatment composition before contact with the sealing composition.

EFFECT: invention enables to impart corrosion resistance and adhesion properties to the treated substrates, which are equivalent or even exceed corrosion resistance and adhesion properties, imparted by use of preliminary coatings, including zinc phosphate or chromium, at that more environmentally safe.
