FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, namely to traumatology and orthopaedics, and can find application in plastic surgeries on an anterior cruciate ligament of a knee joint in children. The method involves creation of through tunnels in a medial condyle of shin bone and a lateral condyle of femur. Then, a transplant is delivered therethrough, and its ends are fixed. The tunnel in the medial condyle of shin bone is created in a proximal direction from its growth area at an angle to an intercondylar eminence. The tunnel in the lateral condyle of femur is formed in a distal direction from a growth area of the latter. The transplant ends are fixed with using interference screws inserted in the tunnels.
EFFECT: use of the given method allows providing higher effectiveness of a surgical intervention and normal function recovery of the knee joint due to improved reliability and stability of transplant fixation with enabled preservation of the growth area of femur.
