FIELD: medicine; traumatology; orthopedics.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for reconstruction of the medial patellar-femoral ligament of the knee joint. The tendon of the tender muscle is taken, from which a double graft of the medial patella-femoral ligament is formed. The free ends of the graft are sutured with non-absorbable sutures. The graft is fixed in two parallel blind channels formed in the medial part of the patella, with alternately tying four non-absorbable threads to each other through an additional incision on the lateral part of the patella and forming a pair of knots. Then the graft loop is immersed into the formed channel in the medial femoral condyle in the Schottle point projection. Fixation in the canal is performed with a constant pull on the graft conductor with an interference screw measuring 6×23 mm.

EFFECT: method allows to avoid persistent pain syndrome in the postoperative period, bone resorption around implants and inflammatory processes in soft tissues, migration of structures, loss of graft tension, and thereby improve the anatomical and functional results of surgical treatment of patella instability due to a combination of techniques of the claimed invention.
