FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to subsurface radar and can be used in determining thickness of soil layers of a wide range of road objects. Invention is a method of processing georadar signals based on analysis of expansion or narrowing of widths of peaks of reflected signals corresponding to boundaries of layers with different values of their dielectric permeability, due to change of corresponding refraction angles of radio waves. Proposed method comprises: georadar subsurface probing, associating results with coordinate grid, determining width of spot falling in radiation pattern, calculating reflected signal peak width, calculating parameters to define pavement structure.
EFFECT: technical result is increase in the measurements accuracy.
