FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to X-ray endovascular diagnostics and treatment, cardiovascular surgery, and can be used for selective catheterisation of an anterior tibial artery. Catheter for selective catheterisation of an anterior tibial artery is a hollow tube with a bent end. Bent end of catheter is made in form of incomplete semicircle, length of which is from 6 to 10 mm, with diameter of imaginary circle of 11–13 mm. Length of end bend is not more than 2 mm. Length of the catheter varies from 100 to 110 cm.
EFFECT: application of the given catheter - increase of efficiency of anterior tibial artery artery catheterisation and its recanalization at occlusion from the mouth, thus increasing efficiency of endovascular interventions in the patients with chronic ischemia threatening loss of extremity, increasing percentage of people rescued from large amputations.
