SUBSTANCE: invention relates to X-ray endovascular diagnosis and treatment, cardiovascular surgery, and can be used for selective thrombolytic therapy in acute pulmonary embolism. A catheter for thrombolytic therapy in acute pulmonary embolism is a tube (1) with a valve (2) at the end and side holes (3), the distal end (4) of the catheter is bent 180° and made of elastic material.

EFFECT: invention allows to maximize the contact area of the catheter with thrombotic masses to accelerate and increase the efficiency of thrombolysis; allows you to freely catheterize the lumen of the necessary branch of the pulmonary artery without an exchange catheter and conductor, which saves additional tools and intervention time; allows to partially fragment thrombotic masses in the lumen of the pulmonary artery with rotational movements for better contact with the thrombolytic agent; does not allow the removal of the thrombolytic drug through the tip, but evenly distributes it through the side holes; minimizes the risk of vascular dissections.
