FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used for measurement of wheel load of vehicles on the road at moving. Essence of the invention lies in the fact that the WIM sensor has a hollow profile with a long longitudinal axis and having an inner space, and this inner space has first and second inner pressure surfaces, and these hold-down surfaces are located opposite each other and on both sides are connected to each other by bent, pre-tensioned profile edges; wherein in inner space along longitudinal axis plurality of piezoelectric measuring elements is arranged, having each first and second load sensing surfaces, and these load sensing surfaces face first or, respectively, second pressure surfaces; wherein each of the measuring elements is located between the two receiving elements, and these two receiving elements through the clamping surfaces transmit the pre-load to the measuring elements; wherein all first surfaces of load perception of measuring elements are electrically connected to each other by an electrode and electrically isolated from the first pressure surface; wherein the electrode is made in the form of a long strip-like insulating film having an electrically conductive layer applied on one side; wherein electrode is located in inner space between measuring elements and first pressing surface; and wherein electroconductive layer is directed to measuring elements.
EFFECT: higher accuracy of measurement of wheel load on the road when moving.
