FIELD: electrical communication engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to communication engineering and can be used in wireless communication systems. For this purpose, multiplexing of information may be useful in various communication scenarios, such as transfer of control information. For example, some wireless communication systems can benefit from multiplexing uplink control information for a short transmission time interval with two orthogonal frequency division multiplexing symbols and 1 ms transmission time interval. Method includes receiving, in a user device, downlink grant information scheduling a first downlink data transmission for a first duration of a transmission time interval. Method includes determining when to provide response information of uplink acknowledgment corresponding to planned downlink data transmission. Determination takes into account whether the user device is planned for downlink data transmission for the second transmission time interval duration. Second duration of the transmission time interval is less than the first duration of the transmission time interval.
EFFECT: technical result consists in improved transmission capacity.
