FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to simulate acoustic emission signals. Essence of the invention consists in the fact that the device for imitation of acoustic emission signals includes a housing, in the cavity of which there is a wave guide installed along the housing axis, which end is located outside the housing and is configured to interface with the analyzed object, and metal balls arranged with possibility of collision with waveguide surface for excitation of elastic voltage waves in it, device is equipped with a metal flat disc with a hole, through which the disc is installed on the waveguide at an angle to the horizontal, wherein metal balls are freely located on surface of flat disc, and housing is made with holes for inlet and outlet of compressed air, which are located above surface of flat disc.
EFFECT: enabling increase in the amplitude of emitted acoustic emission signals while simultaneously providing a wide frequency range.
