FIELD: environmental protection devices.

SUBSTANCE: invention can be used to collect anthropogenic floating, drifting debris, oil and oil products from water surface of oceans, seas and rivers. Device comprises a boom made in the form of a cylinder of floating material, having a solid helical projection along the longitudinal axis—screw, cylindrical pipe, which includes last section of floating boom, accumulator of garbage, oil and/or oil products connected to said cylindrical pipe, and mechanical drive to bring boom into rotation. Accumulator and cylindrical pipe are partially separated from each other by partition, which is lower half of section of their joint. Boom barrier is made of composite or flexible material and has hydrophobic and/or oleophobic coating. To obtain the required length, the boom barrier can be made in the form of sections with the possibility of their end connection to each other. Between the end of the cylindrical pipe, opposite to the accumulator, and the shore there can be additionally installed an auxiliary barrier, separating accumulator and pipe from part of water surface containing garbage, oil and/or oil products.

EFFECT: disclosed is a device for collection of garbage and liquidation of emergency spills of oil and oil products from water surface.
