SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of measurement equipment, namely to detection of neutron radiation, and can be used in detection of pulse and continuous neutron radiation with provision of radiation safety of the person, survey of various objects and territories. Technical result is achieved by the fact that the detected pulses on the time scale are divided into groups of three pulses, the coefficient K is determined, from which pulsed or continuous radiation is determined.

EFFECT: technical result of invention is detection of pulsed neutron radiation with radiation monitor with pulse duration of 0_5 mcs, repetition frequency of pulses from 1 Hz to 100 Hz, with possibility of separation of pulse radiation from continuous radiation.
