FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of erection of shielding and heat-insulating structures. Technical result is achieved by a method of controlling heat transfer between a predominantly solid base and an external environment in which a base is set at a rest temperature of one plate or at least two plates laid in layers and interconnected, wherein at least one of said plates is capable of deforming when changing its temperature relative to rest temperature such that a cavity filled with ambient medium particles is formed between said plate and the base or an adjacent plate in the layer, and points of fixation of plate with base or adjacent in layer plate is selected so that during deformation this plate acquires a convex shape.
EFFECT: change of degree of useful effect from control of heat transfer depending on temperature of plates of heat-regulating structure.
