SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a wetting composition containing a surface-active agent selected from a group including a non-ionic, cationic, anionic, and amphoteric surface-active agent in combination with 10 to less than 50 wt.% of at least one C10-C14 alcohol and 10 to 30 wt.% of an oxygen-containing C4-C6 solvent, to methods for application of the wetting composition and products containing the wetting composition.
EFFECT: development of alternative compositions and methods capable of improving the water wetting affinity of low-energy hydrophobic surfaces.
