SUBSTANCE: disclosed is an aerosol delivery device comprising a substrate configured to contain an aerosol precursor composition, an induction transmitter, an induction receiver and a control component. Induction transmitter is designed to generate an alternating magnetic field. Induction receiver is located near the substrate and is configured to generate heat when the receiver is exposed to an alternating magnetic field and, thus, with possibility of evaporation of components of aerosol precursor composition. Control component is configured to direct electric current to induction transmitter to provide generation of alternating magnetic field by induction transmitter, wherein the control component is configured to direct electric current according to the zero-voltage switching (ZVS) inverter topology.
EFFECT: disclosed is a control means for an induction aerosol delivery device.
