FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, namely to an artificial ventilation (A) device and a method for measuring pressure difference in an artificial pulmonary ventilation device. Device comprises pressure difference measurement section (1) and pressure difference sensor (12). Pressure difference measurement section (1) comprises flow channel (4) with two measuring holes (6) arranged between inlet opening (3) and outlet opening (5) of flow channel (4), to which measurement lines (11) located in branch pipes (7). Breathing gas is directed from inlet hole (3) in the direction of the main flow (S) through flow channel (4) to outlet (5). By means of section (1) of pressure difference measurement in combination with pressure difference sensor (12), characteristic curve "volumetric flow rate - pressure difference" is realized, which is between linear and described by a⋅x1.5 + b form. Flow channel (4) in direction of main flow (S) of breathing gas through flow channel (4) is made annular and/or in the form of segment of ring, and/or in form of sleeve, and / or in form of wall of hollow cylinder. Measuring pipes (7) are thus connected by means of flanges to flow channel (4), that orientation (M) of measuring lines (11) in area of measuring holes (6) has essential component, passing tangentially to outer limiting surface of flow channel (4) and/or to direction of main flow (S) of breathing gas in flow channel (4). Orientation (M) of measuring line (11) in the area of measuring hole (6) lies in angular range from 0º to 60º relative to axis (T), oriented tangentially to local direction of main flow (S) of respiratory gas in flow channel (4) and/or to flowing channel (4) restricting surface lying radially outside, inside plane passing from tangentially oriented axis (T) and to radially oriented axis (R). In the method for measuring the pressure difference in the artificial ventilation device, a device (A) of artificial ventilation is used.

EFFECT: technical result is an improved characteristic curve "volumetric flow rate/pressure difference" for determining volumetric flow rate in a flow channel of the artificial ventilation apparatus, so that better resolution in the range of low volumetric flow rates is provided.
