FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to systems using electromagnetic conversion of electric energy into controlled mechanical movement of actuating elements of shutoff valves. Alternating magnetic field caused by current of main winding (1) induces secondary current in rotating short-circuited secondary winding (3) interacting with alternating magnetic field. This results in rotation of short-circuited rotating secondary winding (3), possibility of tangential movement of which is provided by fixed rings (6) and (7) from antifriction material. Since there is movable threaded connection between rotary short-circuited secondary winding (3) and shaft (4), there is an axial movement of shaft (4) connected to locking element (5). Axial force developed by threaded coupling is measured by parametric measuring sensors (8) generating signals for control device (2). When the set signal values are exceeded, control device (2) automatically disconnects the electromechanical shutoff valve system from the power supply, which excludes the possibility of shutoff element (5) damage.
EFFECT: technical result is higher reliability of electromechanical system of shutoff valves.
