FIELD: technological processes.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to gas purification and can be used in automatic control systems of high-voltage rectifiers of electric filters supply. Proposed method comprises changing thyristor (triac) key control angle in electric filter power supply circuit. Value of the amplitude and minimum values of voltage on the filter electrodes during the self-monitoring period of time is measured. If the ripple coefficient is lower than value of 0.05, the value of the working angle is set in the next half-period after the breakdown, which is equal to the value of the operating adjustment angle in the self-monitoring period, which is reduced by 0.8 times.

EFFECT: efficiency of electric filter operation is maintained at a high level.
