FIELD: heat exchange.
SUBSTANCE: present invention discloses an evaporative heat exchanger with air blowing equipped with multi-lobe or peanut-shaped tubes replacing standard tubes of round or elliptical cross-section.
EFFECT: these tubes are characterized by narrow horizontal section and long vertical section, which allows increasing the surface area in the same volume of the coil with simultaneous preservation or increase of the open air space area; such configuration allows to obtain a coil with a total coefficient of external heat transfer, much higher than that of a standard coil, while the shape of the tubes enables to use a thinner material, which reduces weight and cost of the heat exchanger.
