SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment. Portable automatic external defibrillator comprises a controller; charging circuit controlled by controller and intended for charging at least one capacitor by means of accumulator battery; a discharge circuit controlled by a controller and intended for discharging capacitors using a pair of electrode pads; and plate, divided along central line into two parts, wherein each part has on its upper surface one of electrode straps pair. Each of such components as controller, charge circuit, discharge circuit and storage battery is located on one or other of said two parts of plate. Disclosed is a method of preparing portable automatic external defibrillator for operation.

EFFECT: technical result consists in provision of quick commissioning by means of one separation operation.
